Woodworking Training
WV Wood Technology Center offers woodworking classes for individuals and businesses. Some of the classes include Beginner Lathe, and project-oriented classes including Make a Cutting Board, Make a Side Table with Drawer, and Make a Bookcase. These classes provide students safety and hands-on operation instruction on a variety of machines.
Intermediate Woodworking-Side Table
In this 4-session project-based class, students receive instruction and hands-on training on how to design, select and prepare material, assemble, and finish. This is a great class to continue building basic woodworking skills.

Beginner Woodworking – Lathe
Students receive instruction and hands-on training on how to prepare material, set up the lathe, select tooling, and use proper technique.
Beginner Woodworking – Make a Cutting Board
A great beginner course for anyone interested in getting started in woodworking. Instruction includes an introduction to commonly used woodworking tools and equipment with an emphasis on safe operation.
